Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi Z 52/6 W Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Remove all securing tapes and any locks or catches on the refrigerator. Ensure that children do not have access to any packaging materials to prevent accidents.
Wash the inside of the appliance using a solution of lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid using soap or detergents as they can leave a lingering smell. Dry the interior thoroughly.
Place the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room, ensuring that it is not near any heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight. The back of the appliance should be close to a wall but must not touch it, leaving the required distance for ventilation.
Ensure that any electrical work is carried out by a qualified electrician. The appliance must be connected to an electrical outlet that is easily accessible.
After positioning and connecting the refrigerator, leave it for 2 hours before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly.
Regulate the temperature using the thermostat, which has 6 positions ranging from minimum coldness (1) to maximum coldness (6). For most conditions, an intermediate setting (3-4) is suitable.
Before storing any food, let the appliance run for at least two hours on the coldest setting. Then adjust the thermostat to the normal operating position.
